A.) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Buildafrique Consulting Group is a multi-disciplinary consulting group of companies that offers End-to-End Development Consultancy, Real Estate, Finance, and Investment Solutions.

The organization wishes to recruit highly motivated and result oriented individual to fill the position of Business Development and Marketing Executive.

The position will provide Business Development and Marketing support for the organization, Leads generation and Management, Implementation of various marketing Strategies for the organization, and Client’s Relationship Management, Content development, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate sales of organizations product solutions and meeting sales targets;
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results and taking corrective action to guarantee achievement of marketing objectives;
  • Creating new business development opportunities;
  • Maintain the marketing library, promotional materials and replenishing inventory;
  • Maintaining and managing customers, clients databases, leads, and opportunities through the organization’s Business Management and Information System;
  • Carrying out specific market research and customer surveys;
  • Contributing and developing marketing plans and strategies; implementing existing marketing strategies, and generating marketing campaigns;
  • Coming up with Client’s Relationship strategies;
  • Content development and fulfilment of the organization digital marketing strategies;
  • Organization’s representation in corporate functions, including generating business leads;
  • Systematic liaising and leads follow-up with a range of stakeholders; to generate sales opportunities for the organization.

Job qualifications and core competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Client relations, Entrepreneurship, or related field.
  • Experience in content creation, writing, and development – added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, Innovative, and creative.

B.) QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Buildafrique Consulting Group is a multi-disciplinary consulting group of companies that offers End-to-End Development Consultancy, Real Estate, Finance, and Investment Solutions.

The organization wishes to recruit highly motivated and result oriented individual to fill the position of Quantity Surveyor.

The position will provide support for the organization in areas of project contract administration, management, and quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the brief for a specific project, appraising project specification, and preparation of preliminary estimates;
  • Developing the specifications with other projects consultants and preparation of Approximate Estimates;
  • Collecting information, drawings, specifications, specialized works Bills of Quantities, shop drawings quotations, and preparation of Actual Estimates and Bills of Quantities.
  • Conducting Tender Invitation, Tender Action, Tender Opening, Tender analysis, and preparation of Tender Report.
  • Contract documentation and administration for specific project.
  • Analysis of project work programme and preparation of Cash Flow Projections.
  • Evaluation of applications for valuation and preparation of Interim Valuation for works.
  • Studying of works alterations, changes, and variations, and preparation of Variations Account and Periodic Financial Appraisal.
  • Final accounting and measurements appraisal at project completion and preparation of Final Accounts.
  • Appraising and preparation of construction cost estimates, development cost estimates, material and labour schedules, quotations estimates, and budget costing for construction projects.
  • Liaising with other professionals, such as Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers for required information during project costing and contract appraisal;
  • Updating job knowledge and company information database by researching and tracking on market costs of construction materials, general economic conditions, and new products; participating in professional opportunities; reading professional and technical publications; and maintaining business networks.

Job qualifications and core competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, or related field.
