1.) INVESTMENT RESEARCH & FINANCIAL ANALYST

Buildafrique Group is a multi-disciplinary of specialized companies that offers “End-to-End Project Development and Investment Solutions”.

The Organization wishes to recruit a highly motivated and result oriented individual to fill the position of “Investment Research & Financial Analyst”.

The position will provide support for the organization in areas of Market and Investment Research, Feasibility Studies, Investment Appraisal and Evaluation, Structuring of Investment Solutions, Financial Modelling and Analysis, Investor Relations, Due Diligence, Macro-economic analysis, Market Reports, and Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out of market research and surveys on investment opportunities, industries, companies, and macroeconomic trends.
  • Evaluating investment opportunities including infrastructure, real estate, and alternative investments.
  • Conducting Feasibility studies to inform on investment market indicators and viability of investments, and preparation of Investor Business Case.
  • Building of financial models to access profitability and viability of investment projects.
  • Appraisal, development, and structuring of specific Investment Solutions, and alternative investment models.
  • Developing of forecasting models for cash flow, revenue, and budgeting purposes.
  • Investor relations, carrying out specific investors’ surveys, and capital raising initiatives.
  • Preparation of investment memos, pitch deck, and presentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of investment proposals and due diligence documentation.
  • Macro-economic review and preparation of periodic investment market reports.
  • Creating of new business opportunities through business development, including evaluating strategic investment opportunities.

Job qualifications and core competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
  • Academic background or ongoing course in CFA, CIFA, or related.
  • Proficiency in excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills, Innovative, and creative.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Business and leadership skills.

2.) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Buildafrique Group is a multi-disciplinary of specialized companies that offers “End-to-End Project Development and Investment Solutions”.

The organization wishes to recruit a highly motivated and result oriented individual to fill the position of Business Development & Operations Assistant.

The position will provide support for the organization in areas of Business Development, Marketing, Investor Relations and Operations support, including: Digital Marketing, Customer Relations Management, Identification of Investors, Operations Assistant and Management, Front Office Management, and accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development and Marketing: including marketing of organization’s product solutions and meeting sales targets; creating new business development opportunities through direct marketing and digital marketing, customer relationship management, developing specific marketing plans and strategies, generating marketing campaigns; content writing, and fulfilment of the organization business development, marketing, and brand positioning strategy.
  • Identification of Investors and Investor Relations: including research and identification of potential local and international investors and funding institutions aligned with organization goals, development and maintenance of robust investor pipeline through online platform and networking, development and implementation of investors outreach and liaison strategies, and management of follow-up communication, investor database and fundraising campaigns.
  • Operations Assistant: including administration assistance, accounting support, human resources management assistance, and providing executive assistance to senior management.
  • Front Office Management: on-and-off front office management, including: management of external correspondence, customer care service, and calls switchboard management.

Qualifications and core competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, International Relations, Public Relations, Business Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in Marketing, Online and Digital marketing campaigns, and Content writing.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting, added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, Innovative, and creative.
  • Business and Leadership Skills.
